Quilt Camp Fall 2009
My Butterscotch Bali was just completed and is ready to be taken to Alice to be machine quilted. We had 13 participate in this fall's quilt camp at Tiny Stitches in Middlefield. Two days of quilting, eating (everyone brought a dish), and sharing adventure stories. I really enjoy these get aways. Lisa chairs our club and she does an excellent job at organizing and planning the event with games and prizes. And of course, Wendy hosts the camp in her shop so we never run out of thread, fabrics, or supplies!
A Renaissance Fair was also running the same time so we had live music coming in our open windows. The attire of the participants was a great source of amusement and the crowds would filter into the shop. Hope they come back next year. I missed the storybook wedding.
